In Cub Scouting there are many to work towards and achieve.
Below are the different types of badges

Membership and Joining in Badges.
Here are the Membership and Joining in Awards.
The purple badge is the Scout membership badge, every person that joins the scouting movement, wether they join at a beaver, cub or scout level.
The green badge represents the amount of years you have been in the scouting movement.
The red badge represents the moving on from the Cub Scout section.

Challenge Badges.
In Cub Scouting there are a variety of badges focusing on the challenge element.This section helps to develop the skills and experiences of a cub.
The five section in the challenge programme are:
~ The Outdoor Challenge
~ The Creavtive Challenge
~ The Fitness Challenge
~ The Global Challenge
~ The Caring Challenge

Activity Badges.
In the Cub Scout section there are 32 activity badges for you to work towards and gain. there are also four staged badges.

Group Awards.
As a Cub you are incouraged to get to know the people in the other sections of the group, with the newly introduced group awards this helps you to do so. You can achieve these by completing activities and projects with the different sections.
The Group Awards are based on different themes, these are listed below:
~ The International Award
~ The Faith Award
~ The Environmental Award

Chief Scout's Silver Award.
This is the highest award you can achieve as a Cub Scout.
It can be gained by completing the following sections:
~ the Outdoors Challenge, plus
~ two other Challenges, plus
~ a personal challenge.
It is a great achievement to complete this award as a Cub Scout

The Cub Scout Uniform.
